THE EVENT
MANAGERS ASSOCIATION (TEMA) is the trade body representing companies
which conceive, create, develop or manage events. It is run by its
members for the benefit of its members through an elected council of
representatives, specialist working groups and a fulltime secretariat.

At TEMA we
aim to provide a platform for all the event managers around the state to
enrich your skills, widen your contact base for a fruitful business, a
platform where you can get the maximum output at very nominal rates.
Independent business owners often feel isolated and lonely. A TEMA
member is not alone and receives the support and encouragement needed to
build his or her business on a strong foundation.

Our motto is to take your business to a next level by giving you more credibility.

Our aim is to be the voice of the
multi-crore rupee event organising industry, to serve the collective
needs of event organisers and to promote the interests of our members
and the industry at large. TEMA membership enables organisers to work
with members of its sister organisations, the Event Supplier, Services
Association, Event Venues

Organized in
April 2015, as the THE EVENT MANAGERS ASSOCIATION to represent the
interests of event managers, the Tamilnadu Event Managers Association™
is today the leading association for the national events industry.
Today TEMA represents over 100 individuals in over 16 districts of Tamil
Nadu who conduct and support events around the state.

Over 50 percent of TEMA’s members are
directly involved in the planning, management, and production of events
and buyer-seller events. The remainder of our membership consists of
those who provide products and services to the industry.

TEMA values and promotes diversity of
membership, in terms of company size, products, and geographical area.
Each active member organization is given one vote, regardless of size.

professional resources, service partner discounts, advocacy before
government and media, leadership development and local chapter
membership..

The
Tamil Nadu Event Managers Association (TEMA) is an autonomous and
non-profit registered body of companies, institutions and professionals
operating within the Events and Experiential Marketing industry of Tamil
Nadu. Event Management is a multi-crore industry with mega shows and
events hosted regularly. It is a very exciting field

You will be designing an event one day,
planning an event on another, building a stage on the third day and
accompanying your clients to an adventure sports weekend on the next!
From event creation & design, to sound, lights and special effects,
to DJs, models and sports; you will be planning, executing, managing.In
fact, what’s really exciting about the industry is that doing different
things almost all the time. A career in events involves event marketing,
promotions, sponsorships, corporate events, fashion shows and pageants,
awards nights, wedding planning, and, of course meeting a host of
interesting people. You will interact with some of the most successful
people in the country and the world; from movies, television, sports,
business and almost every other profession.

TEMA is the first body of its kind in
South India, which seeks to bring together the country’s leading Event
Management, Wedding Planners, Entertainment Professionals, Artist
Management Companies and International counterparts on the same
platform.
